Wednesday 22nd saw one of the busiest but more importantly most talented open mic we’ve put on. We had everything from solo artists to duets, from Poets to musicians playing original recordings, keyboards, bass’, guitars cahone and tambourines! . It saw debut live performance by Iain Evans who delivered a superb set and a first outing for David Clarke and partner who did some great funky keyboard and bass tracks. The regulars were on great form – some of which had travelled from Derby, Burton, Sutton and even Rumania (granted Alina now lives in Wolverhampton).
To have a full house on a Wednesday evening in the middle of a cold dank February evening says a lot for the popularity of the evening, and we are already looking forward to the next one. So if you fancy a croon, or just want a great evening of entertainment, get yourself down.
