about

Nino’s predecessor was an Sicilian who moved to the UK some time after the war to find work. He had a vision to provide a premium service at reasonable prices, to create the relaxed informal atmosphere of the Italian coffee shops back in Italy. After creating a highly successful chain of coffee shops, and his passing, His sons carried on his legacy by opening Caffe del Nino in his honour (Cafe of the children). Since then the shops ownership has changed hands, but the “Roman Holiday” 60s Italian feel for the place is something which the staff are striving for. Alongside awesome customer and service and premium products including coffee, fine wines, craft beers and light bites, there is always something going on, we like to think we’re part of the community.

Caffe Del Nino is the highest ranked coffee shop in the area on “Trip Advisor” as well as holding a 5 star hygiene certificate, so we’re not all show, we take our business, our products and our service incredibly seriously. Our reputation is everything, we court constructive criticism, we want to improve our offering and feel that talking to our customers is the most helpful quality control we can use.

Live music including Ninos extremely popular “Open Mic” night is a regular thing at Ninos, different genres, exciting talent new and old, everyone is welcome come on down “Tutte le strade conducono a Caffe Del Nino”
